Netflix plans with ads won't feature “offline” viewing options : Netflix is steadily realizing its new subscription package which will come with advertisements, but behind the package it seems that there are features that cannot be obtained compared to the existing subscription packages.
The feature that is not included in the Netflix package option which is accompanied by advertisements is the option to watch movies or series “ offline ” which means that in that package users will not be able to download the film.
GSM Arena launched on Friday, it was discovered by one of the developers of the iOS application Steve Moser.
He found that in the Netflix iOS app code it states the feature “downloads available on all plans except Netflix with ads”.
Netflix has yet to comment on the matter although it makes sense for the lower priced plans there would be features of a lower standard.
The Netflix Package with ads is expected to launch in early 2023.
As is known, Netflix's plan to add a new package with additional advertisements is present because in 2022 their service will lose a lot of subscribers.
Especially in the 2nd quarter of 2022 they lost as much as 1 million customers due to the large number of accounts sharing shared passwords.
